Who do you want Andy to work with?

Post by Anthony on Mon Jul 02, 2012 12:28 am

Who do you want Andy to work with on his follow up to his first album?

Ed Sheeran - Similar to Andy, but from the UK. He made his name known by starting out busking on the streets and performing in bars and small gigs just like Andy did. Ed, is also credited for working on Taylor Swifts 4th album co-writing with her, as well as penning a few hits with One Direction. He also won a fair share of Brit Awards (UK's Grammy's) and is signed to Warner music, which is who distributes Andy's music in the UK. Check out some of Ed's originals below!

Ryan Tedder - Lead singer of very popular band One Republic. He is also known for producing some huge hits with Beyonce (Halo) , Kelly Clarkson's Already Gone, Adele's Turning Tables, and responsible for Gavin Degraw's top 40 comeback with tracks like Sweeter and Not Over You. Ryan is a Grammy award winning artist and producer

Butch Walker - Butch is more known for his co-writing than any of his own songs. Butch has penned some huge hits like My Happy Ending with Avril Lavigne, is working with Taylor Swift on her 4th album, and has many other artists he has worked with and produced. Butch has a rock sound to him.

Dr. Luke - Produced some of the largest hits in the music industry, although lacking any lyrical substance and has been known to be surrounded by copyright and plagerism cases. Dr.Luke has worked with Avril Lavigne (Girlfriend), Britney Spears, Kesha, Katy Perry, Jessie J, and many others. Although he does not have many male clients. Here are some examples of his work.

Max Martin - Has worked with Pink, Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Kelly Clarkson, Usher and many more. He is the go to for a top 40 hit.

Taylor Swift - We already know how much Taylor loves Andy's music, he even honored her at Billboard's Woman of the Year award ceremony covering her hit single Mine. Taylor is spreading her musical avenues by working with The Civil Wars for Safe and Sound, Eyes Open, and always writes her own songs as well as co-produces. We all know she has a lot of talent and sells huge amounts of anything she touches.

Sara Bareilles - Always witty in her songs, and always sarcastic but in a bubbly way. Her writing is always unique and Andy is a very huge fan of Sara. Sara has some top 40 success, but nonetheless is a brilliant song writer.

Adele - We all know Adele and her MASSIVE success. Although not much of a writer, would you like to see an Adele and Andy collaboration?
